2024 Houston Striders Annual Donation Program

Purpose of the Program

As a local non-profit organization, the Houston Striders is proud to give back annually to the Houston community through charitable gifts from the proceeds of our annual Houston Half Marathon and Houston 10K.

Recipients are chosen each year based on their good works and alignment with the Houston Striders in promoting community service, healthy lifestyles, good sportsmanship, and friendly competition.

This program allows any registered 501(c)(3) non-profit group/club/team to apply for an annual charitable donation from the Houston Striders.

 

Structure of the Program

Eligibility

This program is open to any registered 501(c)(3) non-profit group/club/team.

For any other entities, eligibility for this program will be considered by the board on a case-by-case basis.

 

Instructions

Applicants must fill out the following application in full here

Fill out the application and upload any supporting documentation requested within the application. Depending on the type of organization applying, some of the fields may not be applicable (if so, please indicate as such and why). 

Direct any questions regarding this application to president@houstonstriders.org.

The deadline for the application is January 13, 2024.

The charitable donations will be awarded by February 15, 2024.

Applicants will be notified by email regardless of whether they received a charitable donation.
